John Martz Walther P-38, .45 acp cal. auto pistol. Serial #2558H, mfg. 1970's in Lincoln, CA. Unfired condition. Rare .45 cal. version of the Nazi P-38 custom crafted by WWII veteran and custom gunsmith John V. Martz of CA. This is gun #12 and so marked on the left side of the slide. Very impressive handmade piece - looks like a P-38 on steroids! Wonderfully crafted with 6" heavy barrel, heavy slide and beefed up frame. Very nice bright blue. Fixed rear sights with dovetailed front sight. Walnut checkered grips. Marked on right side of slide: "Lincoln, Calif. USA" and on the right side of the frame: "JVM 12" circled. Left side of the slide has the bannered "Walther" and "P38" with "Martz .45 acp" and "No. 12". Two magazine included are marked "JVM" and ".45 auto". Lanyard loop. Colt Single Action Army, .45 Long Colt cal. revolver. Serial #110965, mfg. 1885. Antique. First Generation. Very good condition. Beautiful looking Colt with the Colt letter stating a ship date of January 7, 1885, confirming nickel finish and 5 1/2” barrel. Originaly shipped with pearl grips. The nickel finish appears to have been renickeled at some point - some signs of old pitting underneath. Barrel address and patent dates are somewhat light but still easily readable. The barrel address reads “Colt’s PT. F.A. MFG. Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A.”. The 5 ½” barrel has a very good bore - lands are a little worn and shows some light frosting. Black hard rubber checkered grips with "Prancing Pony" are in excellent condition with some light surface scratches. Matching serial numbers on the frame , triggerguard and butt. Cylinder face is “L” marked. Back strap has a name engraved that appears to be “Hollis I. Eaton” (see photo). There is a second line under the name that is not clear enough to read. Action works and indexes nicely. Screws have been turned and show some marring. A very handsome nickel Colt from the turn of the century. Includes Colt factory letter. A pretty Old Colt! '73 which will really round out your vintage Winchester lever collection! 24" octagon barrel has a good++ barrel which is rare to find in the .22 short caliber due to the black powder. Stock appears to have been sanded long ago - just a couple of marks. Crescent butt. Barrel and magazine tube have 85% fading blue which is nice. Receiver is mostly gray with some fading blue in protected areas. Dust cover. Operates nicely. Some tap marks on brass breech bottom. Some of the frame screws are slightly burred. Vivid barrel address and caliber designation. Buckhorn rear sights. Brass blade front sight. These .22 Model 1873's are really collectible! Nice piece! Very good antique condition. 22” six-groove round barrel has excellent rifling - good condition - with some light pitting. Frame and sideplate have vivid markings and muted case color. Fading blue on barrel is 80%. Stock and forearm have good finish with minor handling marks, correct “DFC” ribbon cartouche on left side of buttstock. Barrel and lock plate have excellent address and patent markings. Front sight has brass blade. Correct R.S. Lawrence patent ladder rear sight. Saddle bar and ring on left side. Herb Parson's Winchester Model 63, .22 long rifle cal. auto rifle. Serial #159634, mfg. 1957. Very good condition. From the Parsons family estate. Herb Parsons (1908-1959) is widely known as the greatest exhibition shooter who ever fired a firearm in front of a crowd. He was not only accurate, but had a VERY entertaining running monologue. He also had "messages" for young people that are still uttered to this day ("If you hunt with your son today, you will not have to hunt for him tomorrow."). Herb Parson was a Winchester firearms rep/shooter for 30 years and earned the title of "Showman Shooter" (the title of a Winchester color film of his shooting and a written biography that yours truly helped work on). Parson traveled the country with a "Winchester Red" station wagon loaded with Winchester firearms, ammo, dynamite and his wife and two sons (the oldest son Lynn often shot with his father in the exhibitions). This Winchester 63 was owned by Herb Parsons and used in his "machine gun demo" where he fanned the trigger and made it appear to endlessly fire. This specimen is in very good condition with an excellent bore, 70% blue and some handling marks on the walnut stock. 23" barrel, grooved receiver and buckhorn rear sights. Post front sight. Matching serials. Tubular fed. This rifle can be seen in the movie "Showman Shooter" and also in several stills in the "Showman Shooter" biography. Very historically significant piece! C&R OK. Matte blue finish is 97% with some minor edge and holster wear. Vivid Nazi marks on right side of slide. Lanyard loop. Works great! Magazine is marked "JVD" in very good condition. Colt Army Special, .32-20 cal. dobule action revolver. Serial #473250, mfg. 1922. Excellent condition. 4” barrel has excellent bore and crisp address markings. Barrel has 85% blue with some muzzle wear and fine scratch marks. Frame and trigger guard have 90% blue with couple light marks and slightly dinged screws. Cylinder has 80% blue with edge wear and index marks. Polished and checkered hammer is excellent. Colt hard rubber grips are excellent. Double action works fine and locks up tightly. Beautiful Colt in a rare caliber! C&R OK.

U.S. M1 Carbine, .30 Carbine cal. auto rifle. Serial #2213084, mfg. by Standard Products. Good condition. Standard U.S. officer issue during WWII. 18" Underwood barrel dated "1944". Excellent bore. 95% reparked finish. Unmarked round bolt. Trigger group is heavily pitted, and mark is not readable. Unmarked birch stock is in good shape with the usual small nicks and dings. Handguard is marked "S-HB". Rear adjustable rear sight. Non marked 15 round magazine is in excellent condition. Op-rod is "SG" marked. Import mark on barrel. Should make a great shooter. One of the more scarce WWII contractors. C&R OK.

Smith & Wesson "Combat Magnum", .357 mag. cal. double action revolver. Serial #K711115, mfg. 1966. Excellent condition. 6” pinned barrel has excellent bore. Patridge front sight with micro-adjustable rear. 100% matte finish in top of barrel and frame. Barrel and frame have 98% high-polish blue with crisp markings and S&W trademark. Couple slightly dinged screws. Cylinder has 96% high-polish blue with index marks. Trigger and hammer have near 100% case colors. S&W target checkered "diamond" target grips have excellent high gloss finish. Serial numbered in Model 19 series, but no Model "19" designation on frame near yoke - just serial number (this number does not match the butt - see photos). Double action works fine and locks up tightly. A beautiful Smith! C&R OK.

Burnside Carbine, .54 cal. percussion single shot. Serial #20284, mfg. Bristol, RI. Fifth Model. Very good condition. Dandy Civil War carbine with 22" round barrel. Bore is dark, but strong rifling. Vivid marks with 1856 patent date. Saddle bar and ring. Barrel band. Barrel is marked "Cast Steel 1862" with some fading blue, but mostly gray. Receiver has mutted case color and some bright blue on the lower breech parts. Rear sling swivel. Steel butt. Flip up rear sights. Post front sight. Designed by Union General Ambrose E. Burnside.
